This modality raises Swedish massage to a whole new level. Your experience is enhanced by the use of crystals, moist heat and Healing Touch. The goal is to achieve feelings of relaxation, focus and balance.

Your session begins the moment you meet Mary Ann. Together you will complete a brief intake form and have your needs assessed. Now the relaxation begins!

Once you are comfortable, Mary Ann intuitively selects a crystal based on your unique energy. This crystal is placed on your heart chakra to magnify energy and/or allow a clearer flow of energy through the chakra system. In addition to the use of crystals, moist heat plays an important role!  Moist heated towels are gently placed on your back. This moist heat aids in relaxing your muscles.

Throughout your session, the subtle energy of healing touch may be experienced. According to Janet Mentgen, RN, BSN and developer of Healing Touch, this modality "is an energy based therapeutic approach to healing. Healing Touch uses touch to influence the energy system thus affecting physical, mental and spiritual health and healing. The goal of Healing Touch is to restore harmony and balance in the energy system . . ."

Mary Ann is a Polarity Realization Institute graduate, a Healing Touch practitioner, and has studied energy modalities since 1985.
